Salvaged from the wreck of the CSS Nashville Confederate Navy Warship, Blockade Runner & Privateer destroyed by enemy fire. 28 February 1863 near the Georgia coast.

Notes: Extremely rare piece of southern cotton carbonized from ocean environment. Harvested during the war on southern plantations and was the single most valuable export for the Confederate economy.
