A WWII-era RH-36 fixed-blade fighting and utility knife featuring a broad clip-point blade with a long fuller, stacked-leather handle, steel guard, and metal pommel. The ricasso is marked “RH-36.” The RH-36 began as a commercial hunting pattern and became widely used by American servicemen during World War II.

The knife includes the brown leather sheath shown, complete with an integrated belt loop and retaining strap. It measures approximately 11 inches overall, with a blade of about 6 inches.

The blade displays scratches, staining, oxidation, edge wear, and evidence of prior sharpening or cleaning. The stacked-leather handle is darkened and compressed from age, while the guard and pommel show patina, oxidation, and surface wear. The sheath is heavily worn, with dryness, dark staining, scratches, cracking, worn stitching, oxidized hardware, and deterioration around the retaining strap.

A solid WWII-era American military knife with honest age and service wear. Please review all photographs carefully for condition, markings, and included components.
