Septarian

Septarian, also known as septarian nodules or septarian concretions, is a unique and visually striking type of sedimentary rock that is composed primarily of calcite, aragonite, and mudstone or clay minerals. It is characterized by its distinctive patterns of cracks and fissures, which radiate out from a central point, giving the rock a "turtle shell" or "dragon egg" appearance.
