French templar era random coin

The Order of the Templar Knights (The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon) was founded following the First Crusade of 1096. The Order was initially formed to protect European pilgrims to Jerusalem and back following the conquest. The Knights received official endorsement by the Catholic Church in 1129 and flourished, growing in strength and wealth, until 1307, when King Philip IV obtained permission from Pope Clement V to put an end to the Order. Many members in France were rounded up, charged with heresy, tortured, and burned at the stake. The order was officially disbanded in 1312 AD, but legend holds that a group of Knights Templar survived the massacre, went into hiding, and kept the Order alive and growing in strength until today. The Order of the Templar Knights influenced France and worked to unite Christianity.

Ties to "The Curse of Oak Island"

Did the Knights Templar go to Nova Scotia?

Theorizing that Sinclair left Europe with the remnants of the Knights Templar, carrying the Holy Grail, Bradley (1988) places his arrival in Nova Scotia in 1398 (139), where he eventually made his way across the province to found the New Ross site as a refuge for the Templars and their treasure.

We have serval of these coins. You will recieve one picked at random, but will be of equal value to all coins.

These coins DO NOT come from Oak Island, but spark our imagination on what they could find soon!
